FlexGantt Release 2.0.0

FlexGantt Release 2.0.0 has been made available today. This release contains a long list of bug fixes and several major new improvements. Users should be aware that this is a major release (the first since 2005), which means that the release 1 license keys will not work for it. Users will have to order new keys if they want to upgrade to release 2.

Major new features are: selectable relationships, menu support for relationships, different types of relationships (start - end, end - start, start-start, end-end). Another very nice improvement is the animated tree node expand / collapse operation. This gives any Gantt chart a state-of-the-art touch.

The jump to release 2 also honors all the work that went into FlexGantt over the past 6 years and includes all bug fixes and stability improvements made so far.

Price Cut on FlexGantt Development License

The price for the FlexGantt development license has been reduced significantly to 499 Euros. This should make it easier for any interested party to approach and evaluate FlexGantt. The price reduction was primarily driven by developers, who requested it in order to extend the time frame that is available to them to properly try out FlexGantt as part of their company's applications.

Collapp Partner Search

We are currently in the process of finding a suitable partner for our new software called "Collapp". Such a partner could be either one of the following:

• Any company seeking for an enterprise-wide project planning software, that is willing to invest money into the completion of the product. This "sponsor" would benefit by being able to directly influence the feature-set. Another benefit would be that Collapp could be tightly integrated into the already existing infrastructure (directory services (LDAP), mail services, issue / ticket managment systems, etc...)
• A software vendor that wants to get a headstart and purchase the exclusive rights to Collapp and putting the final touch on it.
• Venture capitalists / investores who want to invest into Collapp's future in such a way that DLSC can finish work on it more rapidly.

FlexGantt Release 1.1.7

A new release of FlexGantt has been published, containing several minor bug fixes. Please read the release notes below.
